Power of Attorney
Power of Attorney for Alberta Student Funding
When you assign Power of Attorney, you authorize someone else to have access to or to act on your behalf on matters concerning your Alberta Student Loans. Power of Attorney remains in effect until you revoke (cancel) it.
You may want to assign Power of Attorney if:
- you are studying out of country
- you are studying out of province
- you want someone else to act on your behalf.
The Revocation of Power of Attorney form revokes only the Government of Alberta Power of Attorney for Alberta Student Funding. It does not revoke any non-government Power of Attorney that you may have submitted.
To request a Power of Attorney form or Revocation of Power of Attorney form, contact the Student Funding Contact Centre or EDULINX.
